Sign-In for the qualifiers begins at 8:45AM for the 10AM qualifier and 1:00PM for the 2:30PM qualifier. This applies to Thursday and Friday.

Format: Strict Gold 40/40
Style: Swiss (rounds determined based on entry)
45 Minute Rounds
Clan Rivals Personalities are -NOT- legal for this event.

You can play in ONE qualifier per day to try and make the cut for Saturday.

"This year, we taking the top 16 players, plus everyone tied with the person ranked 16. So it should be somewhere between 20-30 players depending on participation, and with this method, no one misses the cut on "tiebreakers".

From Saturday, the top 16 (and only 16) will advance to Sunday, to a best two-of-three-games match-play format.
Sunday's rounds will be single elimination, to crown the 2003 L5R World Champion.
You MUST play the same clan you qualify with on-site. You may, however, change the stronghold, wind and deck-style.
The only exception to this is Kotei winners, since the environment will be different at GenCon than when they won a Kotei, and it's a small perk for winning a major tourney to get a seed.

The top of each clan that does not qualify via record will advance to Saturday from each qualifier.
